About the Role

This role is for Financial Advisor Trainees and early-career advisors with up to three years of experience. You will partner with an experienced lead advisor and take on growing responsibility for client relationships over time, supported by the firm’s planning, investment, and operations specialists.

You will deepen existing client relationships and develop new ones, delivering financial planning and investment advice both in person and virtually.

Compensation

This is a salaried position, which supports our commitment to objective, conflict-free advice. Advisors also participate in an uncapped incentive program tied to performance and client impact.

Responsibilities

  • Deepen existing client relationships and develop new ones through referrals, professional networking, community involvement, and educational events.
  • Conduct discovery and review meetings, in person and virtually, to understand client goals, time horizons, liquidity needs, and risk tolerance.
  • Develop and present comprehensive financial plans spanning cash flow, retirement, investments, risk management, and wealth transfer.
  • Coordinate estate matters, including beneficiary and titling reviews and foundational trust and estate documents, through the firm’s estate planning partnership.
  • See advice through to implementation, coordinating with internal service teams, custodians, accountants, and attorneys and following up to completion.
  • Lead ongoing client reviews, keeping portfolios and plans current and responding to client questions promptly.
  • Recommend suitable investment and risk management strategies, and adjust as markets and client circumstances change.
  • Contribute to firm goals for client retention and growth, while meeting compliance and documentation standards.
  • Stay current on markets, tax law, and financial planning practice.

Qualifications

  • Series 65 exam passed prior to start date.
  • Commitment to obtain the CFP® designation within 36 months of hire.
  • Up to three years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related client-facing role.
  • Life, Accident & Health Insurance license within three months of hire.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, economics, or business.
  • Comfortable conducting virtual meetings using Zoom, Teams, and similar tools.
  • Solid foundation in financial, retirement, and investment concepts.
  • Sound judgment, attention to detail, and clear communication.
  • High standards of professionalism and integrity.
