I trained to study how bodies move. I have spent my career since making sure everything else does.
As Operations and Planning Specialist at Finivi, I help keep every part of a client’s experience moving in the same direction. A meaningful part of my week supports our in-house estate planning work, including organizing documents, tracking deadlines, and coordinating between our advisors and clients so each step follows cleanly from the last.
The rest of my time is spent on compliance administration and records retention, client onboarding and day-to-day service, and the operational projects that keep a firm like ours running smoothly. What I enjoy most is the quiet work behind a well-run client experience, the details that clients never have to think about because someone already has.
My Story
I grew up in Israel. At eighteen, I began two years of service in the Israeli Army, working as a secretary in the marketing department. Afterward, I trained to teach physical education, earning a B.Ed. and a teaching license at Zinman College at the Wingate Institute.
I have always wanted to see the world, and over the years I have seen a fair amount of it. Almost never on my own. The exception came after I finished my degree, when I went to New Zealand alone, the only trip I have ever taken by myself. Sitting on a mountain there, it became clear what I wanted next: a master’s degree in the United States. I earned an M.S. in Kinesiology, the study of movement, at Indiana University in Bloomington.
Then I went home. My sister and my friends were building careers in Israeli technology at the height of the boom, and I followed them into it. I spent the next several years in marketing communications and sales support at Orckit, MTS, and Tadiran Telecom, where I eventually supported a thirty-person sales and marketing organization and coordinated the company’s distributors around the world.
None of it was what I trained for. All of it taught me the same thing: I am at my best when I am the person holding the moving pieces together.
Professional Background
In 2007, I moved into financial services, joining Pioneer International Services in Herzliya, Israel, supporting a firm that served high-net-worth global clients. I spent eight years there opening accounts across borders, preparing compliance documentation for banks and regulators, passing trading instructions and confirming their execution, and reconciling accounts.
Those years taught me precision. A client holding accounts in several countries is really a client holding several institutions that do not speak to one another, each with its own rules, its own forms, and its own idea of a deadline. My job was to make all of it arrive as one coherent picture. I have been doing a version of that ever since.
I moved to the United States and settled in Ashland, Massachusetts. After several years in operations and customer service outside the industry, I returned to the industry in 2018 with a national financial services firm, supporting its advisors and their clients and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice.
I am a dual United States and Israeli citizen, fluent in English and Hebrew, which has been useful more often than I expected.
Personal Pursuits
My three children are nearly grown. For a long stretch of years, the weekends belonged to a soccer field; two of the three played, and the hours in between belonged to the kitchen, where the cooking and the baking never quite kept pace with how fast they grew. I still exercise, I still prefer to be outside, and I am making plans to travel again. One of my favorite joys of traveling to new places is tasting the local cuisine.
